We are getting almost daily questions about the status of the new E-PowerBarrow electric wheelbarrow.
Almost 15 years we are selling, developping and working with electric wheelbarrows. We sold many different models including our own and we can be regarded as the most experienced company around this product. We know what we liked and what not.
Based on 15years of experience we wanted to develop the all new E-PowerBarrow 2.0 that should be regarded as the ultimate electric powered wheelbarrow.
The development process was quit tumultanous because of different development changes due to circumstances at development partners. But now, april 2026, it is up to us! So here are some status updates:
Status as of april 2026
Motor: Quinder 48V HUB motor, very powerfull and extremely reliable, over 400 motors are daily active in many different applications.The motor delivers around 100Nm of torque and is a S1 motor which mean brushless. It is equipped qith a planetary 5:1 gear.
Battery: EGO PowerPlus battery 56V, so from now on you can choose the battery capacity you like. Wheelbarrows will be sold without battery and charger and will become part of the daily expanding EGO family
Controller/Battery housing: aluminium housing ate this moment alu experts are finishing the design, water resistant, simple, strong
Throttle housing: 3D printed from reinforced plastics, ergonomic design, top quality buttons from partner APEM, design is finished
