Replacing the ON/OFF and Slow Switch for E-PowerBarrow Electric Wheelbarrow
This guide will walk you through the process of replacing the ON/OFF switch or the SLOW button on your E-PowerBarrow electric wheelbarrow. The switch also features a green/red LED to indicate the battery status (low or normal operation).
Tools Needed:
- Soldering iron (for experienced users)
- Small screwdriver
- Sharp object (like a small knife or pin)
Step-by-Step Replacement:

Prepare the E-PowerBarrow:
- Position the wheelbarrow with the handlebar facing up.

Remove the Throttle Housing:
- Locate the 4 screws on the bottom side of the blue throttle housing.
- Carefully remove the screws (be cautious as they are small and easy to lose).
- Unplug the connector from the housing.

Return the Wheelbarrow to Normal Position:
- Set the wheelbarrow back in its usual upright position.

Remove the Yellow Throttle Cap:
- Use a sharp object to gently remove the black rubber dot from the top of the yellow throttle.
- Unscrew the screw revealed by the rubber dot to take off the yellow throttle cap.

Access the PCB Board:
- Put the wheelbarrow back with the handlebar facing up again.
- Remove the two screws securing the PCB (printed circuit board) to the housing.
- Carefully take out the PCB board.

Replace the Switches:
- With the PCB board removed, you can now replace the ON/OFF and SLOW switches.
- If you find soldering difficult or are unsure, feel free to send the PCB to us for replacement of the switches.
Important Notes:
- If you are not experienced with soldering, we highly recommend sending the PCB board to us to avoid damage.
- Always handle the small screws with care to prevent losing them.
