<p>This guide will walk you through the process of replacing the ON/OFF switch or the SLOW button on your E-PowerBarrow electric wheelbarrow. The switch also features a green/red LED to indicate the battery status (low or normal operation).</p>

<h3>Tools Needed:</h3>

<ul>
	<li>Soldering iron (for experienced users)</li>
	<li>Small screwdriver</li>
	<li>Sharp object (like a small knife or pin)</li>
</ul>

<h2>Step-by-Step Replacement:</h2>

<ol>

	<p><strong>Prepare the E-PowerBarrow:</strong></p>

		<li>Position the wheelbarrow with the handlebar facing up.</li>
	</ul>
	</li>

	<p><strong>Remove the Throttle Housing:</strong></p>

		<li>Locate the 4 screws on the bottom side of the blue throttle housing.</li>
		<li>Carefully remove the screws (be cautious as they are small and easy to lose).</li>
		<li>Unplug the connector from the housing.</li>

	<p><strong>Return the Wheelbarrow to Normal Position:</strong></p>

		<li>Set the wheelbarrow back in its usual upright position.</li>

	<p><strong>Remove the Yellow Throttle Cap:</strong></p>

		<li>Use a sharp object to gently remove the black rubber dot from the top of the yellow throttle.</li>
		<li>Unscrew the screw revealed by the rubber dot to take off the yellow throttle cap.</li>
	</ul>

	<p><strong>Access the PCB Board:</strong></p>

	<ul>
		<li>Put the wheelbarrow back with the handlebar facing up again.</li>
		<li>Remove the two screws securing the PCB (printed circuit board) to the housing.</li>
		<li>Carefully take out the PCB board.</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p><strong>Replace the Switches:</strong></p>

	<ul>
		<li>With the PCB board removed, you can now replace the ON/OFF and SLOW switches.</li>
		<li>If you find soldering difficult or are unsure, feel free to send the PCB to us for replacement of the switches.</li>

	<li>If you are not experienced with soldering, we highly recommend sending the PCB board to us to avoid damage.</li>

<h2>Electronic brake vs mechanical brake</h2>

<p>In addition to the electronic brake, we always recommend using a mechanical brake, provided a braking function is required. An electronic brake should not actually be considered a brake, but rather a deceleration aid. The braking function of an electronic brake is entirely dependent on the electrical system and the voltage within that system. If the battery is empty, the brake will no longer work, and if the machine is turned off, the brake will disappear. In short, if you require a braking function for safety reasons, always use these brake discs.</p>
